Working Mother magazine this week recognized Lexmark as one of the 2017 Working Mother 100 Best Companies for its strong leadership in creating progressive workplace programs for parents. As part of the recognition, Cherie Flueck, Lexmark director of worldwide finance planning, is featured among the Working Mothers of the Year.
The Best Companies list comprises U.S. companies that have demonstrated leadership in the areas of advancement of women, flexibility, childcare and paid parental leave.
The 100 Best Companies are featured in the October/November issue of Working Mother and on workingmother.com.
“We believe that a healthy work environment begins with employees who have effective work-life integration,” said Sheri Evans Depp, Lexmark HR director. “For parents, our paid parental leave program and workplace flexibility offerings go a long way in helping employees achieve that important balance. It’s great to be recognized for it.”
“This year’s winning companies know the value of keeping their employee moms engaged and supported,” said Working Mother Editor-in-Chief Meredith Bodgas. “They use schedule flexibility, paid parental leave and family benefits to ensure that parents can develop meaningful careers while leading satisfying home lives.”
