Lexmark has formed a partnership with Nuance Communications, a leading provider of voice and language solutions for businesses and consumers.
Under the partnership, Lexmark will have the rights to sell and distribute three of Nuance’s document imaging solutions: Equitrac Office/Equitrac Express, SafeCom and AutoStore. Nuance is providing compatibility for its software to integrate with Lexmark hardware through embedded solutions framework (eSF) applications that will enhance our print release and document capture capabilities.
Nuance will also provide service and support to qualifying customers.
“Nuance’s proven capabilities and global 24/7 support align to the needs of Lexmark customers,” said Brock Saladin, Lexmark senior vice president and chief revenue officer. “When combined with Lexmark’s industry-leading, award-winning imaging devices, our customers can confidently and securely manage documents throughout their lifecycle.”
“Utilizing Nuance’s solutions, Lexmark customers can enhance their document workflows to increase productivity and efficiencies,” said Chris Strammiello, vice president of global alliances and strategic marketing, Nuance Document Imaging. “Simultaneously, organizations gain control of document security to better secure protected information against unauthorized access by individuals in and outside of the organization.”
